Information<\/h3>\n

“Legend” is the entry-level whisky in the Bowmore core line. \u00a0A great introduction to Bowmore, but probably not completely representative if their quality. \u00a0Fun and very attractive at the price!<\/p>\n

Nose<\/h3>\n

Shrimp? wet leaves, waxy newspaper. \u00a0Very gentle smoke. \u00a0Youthful, slightly salty. \u00a0Dry vanilla and spice.<\/p>\n

Palate<\/h3>\n

Again, gentle smokiness. \u00a0Paper and dry vanilla. \u00a0Water doesn’t change it besides reducing alcohol percentage.<\/p>\n

Finish<\/h3>\n

Dry vanilla again. \u00a0Simple and short.<\/p>\n

Conclusion<\/h3>\n

Unique among Islay whiskies. \u00a0At the price, Bowmore legend is almost irresistible on the shelf. \u00a0I recommend indulging at least once – this whisky is not perfect, but it definitely has something to offer. \u00a0I imagine it is the kind of whisky you may not like, so sample it if you have the chance!<\/p>\n
