Information<\/h3>\n

Made using “the tallest stills in scotland”, Glenmorangie is a delicate spirit and a great whisky for starters because of it’s price and\u00a0approach-ability. \u00a0The tall stills means the heavier flavors don’t make it into the distillate (they are unable to escape the still!). \u00a0Glenmorangie has a lot of depth if you want to spend time with it, but is a great standard whisky for when you just feel like a dram.<\/p>\n

Nose<\/h3>\n

Apples, fresh fruits. \u00a0Vanilla, honey, lavender and lilacs. \u00a0Very slight salt. \u00a0Buttercream and a hint of sweet copper.<\/p>\n

Palate<\/h3>\n

Sweet honey, light caramel, hint of grassiness.<\/p>\n

Finish<\/h3>\n

Gentle but lasting. \u00a0Honey and butter.<\/p>\n

Conclusion<\/h3>\n

Glenmorangie is a whisky that I’ve tasted many times since I started with whisky, and I always find it interesting. \u00a0It’s built in a way that matches your “tasting mood” – complex when you want it, and tasty when you just want some doggone whisky!<\/p>\n
